The picnic always runs from Noon until 5pm.

We will post a schedule of events when the date approaches.   We generally mix and mingle for a few hours, then hold the costume contest, and finish with the raffles. Remember, you have to be there to win a raffle prize.

There will be hot dogs, chips, pop and other snacks provided by Coast to Coast Dachshund Rescue.

This is also a picnic, so please feel free to bring your own food and drink.

Several vendors will be set up in the park selling fun things for your dogs (and people too)!

There will also be a balloon artist, as well as face painting for the kids, and it's free!

NEOD will hold prize basket raffles, a 50/50 raffle, a door prize giveaway, and we'll be selling T-Shirts for $10 a piece.

Some vendors are able to process credit cards.  NEOD can only accept cash or checks, so If you plan to buy things, play it safe and bring some cash.

The costume contest is free, and open to anyone.  Prizes will be given for best female, best male, best group (2 or more doxies) and the Grand Champion!  The contest is held on the basektball court.  We ask all costume doxies to surround the court, but stay on the grass.  That way we can view everyone, and people who want to take photos for themselves can also do that.

The only cost we ask is a donation of $1 per dog.  This helps us cover our own costs for park, set up, supplies, and insurance.  There is no set registration, but we do have a sign-in sheet.  We want to get an idea of how many people and dogs are there.  Feel free to make your way over to the sign-in area, pay your dollar-a-dog donation, and sign in at your own convenience.  Many people like to get set up first, so please get settled, then come over and say hello!
